I first met Michael when he was recommended by a friend to shoot my bridal portraits and wedding.  We were so impressed with his work, we booked him right away.  He was hands down my #1 vendor at my wedding.   Both professional and easy to work with.  My pictures were amazing!  I told Michael ahead of time what I wanted out of my wedding photos and he nailed it!  When my husband and I found out we were going to have a baby, knew it was another milestone in our life we would only trust to Michael.  He shot my maternity pics and did my son's very first photo shoot.   Needless to say my walls are now coverd my Michael's artwork of my family.  Michael Lamb is a true artist who doesn't snap photos, but captures moments.

I very strongly recommend Michael Lamb for any kind of portrait and event photography!  Not only is he extremely skilled in his work, he is a genuinely wonderful person with a great heart and personality!  He cares so deeply about his customers and giving them the greatest photos they could ask for!  I had booked another photographer to shoot my wedding in August of 2007.  After my engagement portrait session with her, I felt extremely disappointed and uncomfortable having hired her.  I had won a free bridal portrait session at Wedding Festivals with Michael, and after the shoot, I really wanted to change photographers!  Mike really went above and beyond in order that I'd be able to switch.  In addition to my bridal portrait, Mike shot my engagement portraits, my wedding and reception.  The end results were fantastic!  He and his assistant, Meredith, were a joy to have at the event and made everyone feel totally at ease.  I trusted the photography to him completely and didn't have to worry about anything at all.  I was thoroughly pleased with everything he did, from his business practices, to his friendliness, to his pictures.  I very highly recommend Michael Lamb!  He is wonderful and really made my wedding pictures spectacular!

My husband and I were so impressed with Michael and Meredith.  Our initial meeting with Michael really sold it for us....very personable, upfront, and a great portfolio.  We had a rather nontraditional wedding dinner, then ceremony, then drinks all outdoors and the pictures were impressive.  His journalist photography background means he knows how to capture those candid moments that make the day special.  We also order a story book from him which is professional and beautiful...he knew how to capture the "feel" of our day.  Also, when the mail carrier delivered the book to the wrong address, he actually picked it up and drove it to our apartment!  Definitely recommend Michael Lamb Photography!

I won a free bridal session with Michael at the Upstate Wedding Festival.  I definitely expected to receive sub-par quality due to the fact we were not paying for his services, but the treatment I received took me by surprise.  Michael and his assistant were highly professional and very talented.  Everyone that viewed my portraits afterwards were so impressed!  Unfortunately, we had already booked a different photographer for the ceremony, but had me met Michael before, we would definitely have booked him!  Michael Lamb Photography provides the best quality in the Upstate for a highly reasonable price and I would very much recommend him to anyone seeking a photographer.  Michel is sure to capture all of the emotions, details and scenery surrounding your special day.

I found Michael at Wedding Festivals in Greenville.  He did a fabulous job at our wedding.  He was very laid back which really helped with the stress of the day.  He took more pictures than I could have imagined and I loved all of them.  He made sure he got all of the traditional photos as well as a bunch of candid ones.  One of my favorites is a picture of my flower girl with a foot in the air trying to catch the bouquet!  I will use Michael for all my picture needs in the future, I have already booked him again.  I have said many time he was my best purchase for the wedding!

My husband and I recently used Michael Lamb for our wedding and were really pleased with the service, the value and especially the pictures.  You won't find great prices like his elsewhere and receive as much as he provides (an assistant so double photo coverage, long hours at your event, etc.).  He and Meredith were both great to work with and not obtrusive at all - they put people at ease.  You really did just forget that they were there when they were trying to capture candid shots.  They also had to face several hurdles for our wedding but you would NEVER know it from the pictures - for example, both my parents were ill on the day of the wedding, but he always shot them in a positive way that you'd never know it.  And they captured our nighttime sparkler departure from the reception really well.  Michael was also extremely helpful after the wedding: mailing our pictures to us in another state, helping my mother with choosing the right resolution for the newspaper announcement, etc.  Awesome!

Michael was the photographer for our wedding and he did such an amazing job!  I want to tell the world about how professional and charming his attitude was, and how creative and classic our photos turned out.  One great story I love from our wedding was when the beer store gave us the wrong tap so we had to open the keg with an AXE and then catch the spraying beer in an evacuated sweet tea jug.  When I saw Michael over there shooting photos of the whole thing, I turned to my husband and said: "That guy just earned his money!" and consequently, those photos are some of my husband's favorites (go figure!).
